Let us just address the elephant in the room….I have been MIA for some months now. No, I was not ill, suffered from depression, went through a bad break, or even lost my job. I have just been living my best life. Last year was one of the best years of my life. I traveled to so many places, I got a promotion at work (making more coins) and most importantly I fell in love with TSJ again.
HOW I STARTED TO FALL OUT OF LOVE….
What I was doing was looking at all the things I did not have and focused on that. That leads to nothing but MISERY. God tapped me on the shoulder and was like GURL! (G-O-D can be a little ghetto sometimes)…. YOU LACK NO- THING. Now if you follow me on Instagram you got briefed on what I mean when I say NO -THING. There is nothing right now stopping me from success. God has provided me with all the resources I need to take this thing to the next level.
SO WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THAT?
Honey, I have been on cloud 900 from the revelation. I looked back at 2017 and just saw nothing but awesome moments. As the kids would say, my life is lit! This new year is just going to be a continuation of last year just on another level. My word of the year is FEARLESS. I will completely let go of my fears and believe in myself more. There is nothing I can not do and dawg gon it, I’m going to NAIL IT!
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR 2018?
I say for 2018 instead of resolutions and setting goals that you may not reach, whats the word of the year for you? Make that word the theme of your new year. Those days when you start slipping back into the “old you”, (because let us face it, just because the calendar changes, do not mean we automatically do too) SCREAM your word. Block out and separate yourself from anything that does not mirror your word. Do a monthly or quarterly check in with yourself. Journal or keep a log of your accomplishments. Do you need to take it up a notch?
This new year should be about holding yourself accountable. When our goals are not met, we need to stop blaming things for “not being our time”. Did you really put in the work? Did you work on that thing night, day and weekends to see it be completed? You should be able to answer yes to both of those questions.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR WORD OF THE YEAR IS…..
